UC Berkeley Internship Application & Information

Thank you for your interest in the Summer 2008 Corenet Apprentice Program (CAP). Corenet (Corporate Real Estate Network) is the world’s premier association for professionals in corporate real estate and related fields. Through the Corenet Global Northern California Chapter network of sponsors and affiliates, we are able to deliver a unique, rotating summer internship to provide a select number of highly qualified students with a challenging and well-rounded overture into the various capacities and functions in corporate real estate.

Summer interns will rotate through two host companies and spend five weeks with each company. At each company, interns will have exposure to industry leaders, experience unique corporate cultures, and take on challenging projects and responsibilities. The rotating platform will allow students to gain experience in various areas of corporate real estate and while receiving invaluable mentorship from host leaders.

CAP requires a full-time commitment from the students during the 11-week session. Interns will be paid a stipend of $12 an hour. (See CAP Important Dates & Schedule for more information on program timeline.)

Key Learnings are intended to focus on some or all of these areas:

We will finalize the list of participating companies shortly. Host companies will provide exposure and experience in the following areas of corporate real estate:

This year, we have expanded the number of companies and the industry micro-segments they represent.
